Route 9W Master Plan

New Baltimore, New York

Working with Elan, a New York based planning and design firm, Chroma Design has helped to prepare a master plan for route 9W a 7.25-mile highway corridor in upstate New York. The project includes zoning revisions, urban design for multiple retail and mixed-use centers, and a new destination retail hub with a fly-over across the NY State Thruway. Urban design, zoning, and civic enhancements have also been proposed for two villages with the intent to make them vibrant community centers.
