Council Bluffs Wayfinding Sign Master Plan

Chroma Design has been working with the City of Council Bluffs, the Iowa West Foundation, Iowa Department of Transportation, and the Chamber of Commerce, to prepare a comprehensive wayfinding sign system that will direct visitors to the most popular destinations in the Historic Downtown, Riverfront, and Manawa Lake areas. The proposed family of signs includes District Signs, Neighborhood Signs, and Directory signs. All signs are color coded to the district destinations and the design theme incorporates the already familiar curving “bluff” forms seen on the city’s logo and thematic gateway and streetscape elements.
