Marksheffel Bridge

Colorado Springs, Colorado

The Marksheffel Cattle Ranch once covered thousands of acres in southeastern Colorado Springs, but is now rapidly becoming a new residential community. The developer was interested in making an “Iconic Statement” with the new bridge over Sand Creek. A traditional cattle chute and ranch fence provided the design inspiration for these unique bridge pier ornaments and railings.

This project was completed by Doug Lamson while employed by another firm.
