Chroma Design’s offices are located at the Grill Mansion in heart of downtown Boulder’s Mapleton Hill Historic District. The setting is reflective of our belief that the quality of our surroundings has a significant effect on the work that we do. We are part of Boulder’s diverse design community and our project locations extend from Colorado’s Rocky Mountains to the East Coast.

Doug Lamson is the principal and founder of Chroma Design. He started the company in early 2007 after spending over 20 years as a designer and project manager for planning and design firms in Denver and Boston. Doug is utilizing his 27 years of experience as a licensed landscape architect to take the company into a varied mix of project types. His professional skills range from managing large multi-disciplinary projects to preparing the aesthetic design for bridges.

Cody Nolta is the company’s Production Manager, he is in charge of preparing deliverable documents and marketing materials. Cody has a background in industrial design and environmental graphics. He has over 10 years experience producing award-winning design documents in a wide range of media and styles.

Matt Kintner is our firm’s newest member, he is a landscape designer with 3 years experience that includes work on several master planned communities in Southern California. He is a graduate landscape architect and brings to the firm strong skills in computer graphics, site design, and project management.
